FSH News, Harun Nasution Auditorium — The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the 141st Yudisium and Graduation Release Ceremony on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Beyond marking the completion of undergraduate and master’s education, this moment served as a space for reflection, appreciation, and character strengthening for graduates before entering the formal graduation stage.

The event began with a presentation on the Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) programs by the heads and secretaries of the postgraduate programs. It continued with the recitation of the Kalam Ilahi by M. Imamul Huda, S.H. (Master’s student in Family Law), the singing of Indonesia Raya and the UIN Jakarta Hymn, followed by an opening prayer. The Yudisium report was delivered by the Committee Chair, Windy Triana, Ph.D., followed by the reading of the Graduation Decree (SK) for undergraduate and master’s students and the announcement of the best graduates by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mesraini, S.Ag., S.H., M.Ag.

As a form of appreciation for students’ hard work, FSH UIN Jakarta presented awards to the best graduates from each study program and at the faculty level, handed directly by the Dean and faculty leadership. Non-academic achievement awards were also presented by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Kamarusdiana, M.H., represented by Dr. Windy Triana.

A reflective atmosphere was created through the screening of Letter to My Future Self and One Word for My Journey videos, interspersed with impressions and messages delivered by Dewi Sekar from the Constitutional Law program (HTN) on behalf of the graduates, along with entertainment performances.

In his address, Dean of FSH UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, S.H., M.A., M.D.C., reminded graduates not to focus solely on career achievements but to prioritize integrity and tangible benefits for the public.

“No matter how great or wealthy a person is, the measure of their usefulness must be clear and felt directly by society. Wherever you pursue your career, make honesty (as-siddiq) the key to building trust, and uphold ethics and manners as the distinguishing identity of our graduates,” emphasized Prof. Muhammad Maksum.

To strengthen alumni relations, the agenda continued with the election of the Alumni Chair, remarks from the Alumni Chair, and alumni fundraising. The event officially concluded at 11:03 AM with a group photo session for the eight study programs: Family Law, Comparative Madhhab, Sharia Economic Law, Constitutional Law, Islamic Criminal Law, Legal Studies, Master of Sharia Economic Law, and Master of Family Law.
