FSH NEWS, Jakarta – Insurance company PT Tugu Pratama Indonesia Syariah Unit has extended financial assistance to underprivileged students studying at the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH), UIN Jakarta. A total of 12 students received aid amounting to 30 million rupiah.

The symbolic handover was conducted by Director of Compliance and Risk Management, Edi Yoga Prasetyo, and received by Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Kamarusdiana. The ceremony took place during the 21st Anniversary of PT TPI Syariah Unit, held at the company’s headquarters on Monday, April 13, 2026.

This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to empowering communities and expanding access to education for those in need. PT TPI also runs various community development programs as part of its corporate mission. As is widely known, PT TPI is one of Pertamina’s insurance subsidiaries, recognized for its solid reputation and healthy growth.

On the occasion, Dean of FSH, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maksum, expressed gratitude for the support. “This greatly helps our students and motivates them to continue excelling despite difficult circumstances,” he said. Prof. Maksum also encouraged students to strengthen their dedication to learning, contribute to public knowledge, and enhance financial literacy—particularly in understanding Islamic insurance (takaful).
