FSH News, Jakarta - The Faculty of Sharia and Law at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta held a workshop on the preparation of accreditation documents for four study programs, namely the Constitutional Law Program, the Sharia Economic Law Program, the Family Law Program, and the Doctoral Program in Sharia Studies. The event took place over three days, from March 2 to 4, 2026, at the Grand Whiz Poins Simatupang Hotel.

The workshop was attended by 81 participants, including faculty leaders, program directors, academic staff, students, and alumni. The event aimed to strengthen preparations for drafting program accreditation documents, particularly the Program Performance Report and the Self-Evaluation Report, which will be submitted to the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education.

The event was opened by Ahmad Tholabi, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at the State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of preparing accreditation documents that comprehensively reflect the condition of the study programs through the presentation of complete, accurate, and accountable data.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Muhammad Maksum, explained that the preparations for this event involved a fairly dynamic process. He also emphasized that, to date, the Faculty of Sharia and Law continues to use the accreditation instruments established by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education as a demonstration of its commitment to maintaining the faculty’s academic integrity and quality. He hopes this workshop will yield concrete outcomes in the process of drafting the accreditation documents.

Participants were then divided into six working groups: the Internal Quality Assurance System Group, the Higher Education Database Group, the Self-Evaluation Report Drafting Group, the Faculty, Staff, and Survey Data Group, the Finance Group, and the Review Group for Semester-Based Learning Outcome-Centered Curriculum Plans.

Most of the working groups successfully completed their assigned tasks, although some data still required further refinement. Overall, the workshop proceeded smoothly, orderly, and productively. The event provided significant benefits to the participants while supporting the readiness of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta to face the program accreditation process more effectively.
